Pastor to Children and Their Families
Lisa Wood
Lisa Wood serves as our Pastor to Children and Families. Lisa attended Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary where she earned her degree in Pastoral Studies. She is currently an MDiv candidate with emphasis in Pastoral Care at Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. Lisa is a former children’s book columnist and her articles have been published in a variety of magazines. She has over 18 years of experience in children’s ministry which includes conducting parenting and family enrichment seminars. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and writes many of the children’s litanies and dramas performed by the children at Immanuel.
Lisa and her husband Jim have a daughter who attends middle school. Lisa also has three older children who live in Owensboro. Lisa enjoys scrapbooking, trap shooting, photography, and needlework.
